i said i want happiness
and took some time to think
how it would be like to be happy.

i see myself walking on the beach
by the sea in the late afternoon,
nothing but the sound of lazy waves sweeping the shore,
the gentle breeze and my dancing hair.

and i'm at a small table by a glass panel
glancing out at the sky.

it's the same blue sky with clouds,
i used to think, just like every other day.

but lately,
the sky has never been more beautiful in my eyes.
i see the beautiful blending of different shades of blue and white,
sometimes, red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, black or grey,
and sometimes various interesting patterns too.
sometimes, just a peaceful sky blue and clouds floating by.

and i think,
happiness is not out of reach.

happiness is part of me.
