went rounding wif the girls n guys on fri and the girls on sat.
it was alright man :D
jus tt i bet its super tiring on the drivers, esp ling. she drove us on fri and all the way on sat.
goodness. luv her to bits! =p
bet she was super tired. she din even sleep!
anw, the car ling rented was quite cute, u know.
its a six-seater, the kind u've gotta put up the back seat to sit right behind. haha.
stil got cup holders. =p

had my first time pushing a car. we did run too! it was fun! haha. although the poor car stil couldn't move n had to rest in tt foreign empty carpark. :(
like wat cher said, i'd b worried if i had to leave my car behind. :(
but im glad it's alright now :D

we'd been to west coast park on sat n dempsey hill, if its spelt correctly?

the place is super beautiful!
i love the decor of the place, the ancient kind with red curtains n the chandelier. haha.
ther's a place for the band to play their music too!
n this spiral stairs. so pretty!
we had pizzas n ice-cream for lunch/dinner?
i love the ice-cream though! it's been such a long time since i ate ice-cream on a cone. haha.
felt like a happy kid. awww =p

anw,
there wasnt live music at tat time.
n there were old songs playing in the background.
not so ancient songs la, some we do know of.
really nice! it's jus so nostalgic. :)

it sounded like the carpenters.
i really love it. so i tried searching online for it today.
i couldnt find it.
i mean, its super difficult. i hav no idea wats the title of the song and the band, i've forgotten how it sounded like. -__-"
but i heard quite a number of songs by the carpenters. really really good! :D

so i read a bit of their history.
i knew bout the singer's death like long ago.
some said she died of anorexia and the problems it caused to her body.
its quite sad, u know.
she's pretty n her voice is good. :(
i know of others who had problems from dieting.
not those minor ones tt after taking med, u'll recover.
but those tt r long-termed n will last forever till u die.
its so sad.
i mean, it made dieting sound so frightening.
ther's a phrase tt goes smth like this:
"it's not dying that's scary, but the facing of suffering and knowing tt it isn't time to die"
oh gosh. it means the process, not the ending.
yeah.
frightening. :(

i'd been talking to my bro the other day.
we talked bout life as a repetitive process.
everyday's the same kinda thing tt's y ppl are so melancholic n upset with life.
but i realised smth thru the discussion of samuel beckett's "texts for nothing".
happiness is subjective.
the fact that we hav too high an expectation of happiness makes us unhappy when we feel tt we dont experience it.
the thing is, ther is a difference between contentment (satisfaction) and happiness.
if u're contented with life, den eventually, happiness comes easily.
right?
okay, if it's just too chim or tt it's entirely nonsense,
jus rmb this

another random thought.
i believe, and tt im sure many others have realised this,
tt melancholy or sadness compells u to write more intense n emotional pieces.
i write a lot. u know, all my silly poems n proses.
n most of the times, it's becos im experiencing pain tt i write pieces that in my opinion r so beautiful, when i read them again.
yeah. in another sense,
people might (in fact) need melancholy to produce better pieces.
so sometimes, being emo is not entirely bad.
